If anyone is looking for a very affordable, solid 150 in SoCal, my hangar neighbor has one posted in the classifieds. He is an A&P, and the plane is very well maintained (belongs to his brother.) Has a Robertson STOL kit, digital radios and fresh annual. High time engine, but in very good shape. He is only asking $15K, but I am guessing he will give it away for less.

I only bring it up because I know someone will get a get deal on this airplane!

I spoke with the seller at length, on the phone, about this airplane and if it weren't so far away, I would own it now. I really like it, but the costs of getting it from basically the Mexican border to the Canadian border were not condusive to my budget.

That does look like a decent little bird! Worth looking at for anyone to whom the location isn't a problem.

I know a few members who would jump at the chance to ferry the airplane from where it is now to anywhere it needs to end up ... I'm sure the price would be right!

I wonder if the wings would fit onto a 1976 Cessna 150M? smile

Man would it be neat to swap wings on my plane. I like the Robertson STOL kit. It definitely would be faster and probably cheaper too. I wonder what the paperwork would be like? Would the STC have to be refiled?

Strictly legally speaking.........Yup! With both the FAA and manufacturer.
