OK folks! Believe it or not your dream 152 has just been put on to the market. Bill Warner is selling his gorgeous 152. Since I am mostly sitting on my butt all day, he has asked me to help screen out tire kickers for him. The ad is in Barnstormers. [barnstormers.com] And an ad will be placed in the Club classified. For more detailed information check out the September 2006 AOTM. And feel free to contact me. The ads only tell part of the story of what has been done to this magnificent 152.

I doubt i'd go over 30K even for a nice bird like this. Probably go get something bigger/faster for about 35 and save some dough for gas.

Jim, I hear what you are saying, but you know, its one of those planes you have to see to appreciate, and I have seen it - for the "right person", its worth every bit of the asking price.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - you guys over there are fortunate enough to have aircraft in abundance and as such, prices are what they are across the board, regardless of make or model.

I can tell you now, out side the US, this little 152 would be considered an absolute bargain. We have 152's down here (and for that matter through Europe) that are High Time and well beaten (think of a 22-25K 152 in the US) that are more than the the price of Bill's to purchase. I'd be surprised if that plane doesn't sell to someone who, either appreciates for what it is, or it will disappear over seas for sure.

If it were here, it would be a $65K+ aircraft for sure, and right now our $$'s are up there with yours

Here you go, check this out for a comparison......

Here's another (C150M)in the England 27K British Pounds is nearly $43K US on today's rates

Both no where near as nice as Bill's at all!!!!! in fact I would say Chalk and Cheese without doubt - Makes Bill aircraft great Value does it not!! cool

Cheers

Well if everyone was willing to pay $49.5k for it, then SOMEONE would likely be willing to step up to $60k. It's all relative. Bill only needs 1 buyer. Whatever top dollar for a nicely equipped 152 is...this airplane is worth it.

I was thinking ask 55-57, maybe accept 50-51.

But, I'm a bit biased.

I've seen it in person.

That's one sweet airplane!
