Bad news. Central Air Parts in Staunton, Illinois is closing. Everything is to be auctioned off September 16 through 19, 2010 - EVERYTHING.

Looks like there are a couple of LR wings from a 152, a dozen Scott tailwheel assemblies, and everything from window latches, (ATTENTION!) to complete aircraft projects; including a 1980 152 and a1941 J-4. I received a four page auction flyer from the auction company, Starman Bros. Auction Services. Literally thousands of parts are going on the block.

Another parts resource bites the dust. frown

Well darn it! CAP was the first salvage yard I had ever purchased parts from. I was very satisfied with them!
