A few years ago I purchased a partially completed Hatz Biplane project on eBay, and drove all the way to Idaho to pick it up. I paid $3,500 for the project, and computed at the time that I was getting about $10,000 worth of airplane.

The fuselage is all welded up, the spars are done, the ribs are done (beautiful carpentry work on all wood stuff, top notch)The seat pans are done, turtle deck complete, etc. No firewall forward stuff.

Includes full set of plans for both the Hatz CB-1, and the Hatz Classic. Also includes the ribbed aluminum aileron stock (from Cessna I believe.)

If you are not familiar with the Hatz I suggest checking the following web sites for background, this is a pretty cool 1930's style biplane, about 75% the size of a Waco.

In 4 years I have not found any time to work on this project, and have decided I would rather have the hangar space. I am asking $2,000 or best offer for the project, buyer to pick up in person or arrange for shipping.

Heck! Justina and I have never been to Florida. Maybe we could just pick up the parts and pieces and deliver them to you Carl?

LOL. And presently I am trying to figure out how to transport a set of wing 400 miles. I wouldn't have a clue how to transport a whole airplane 3000 miles! But it sure could be fun to try! crazy

Throw a sheet over them and use duct tape. grin wink

Duct (or duck) tape, has almost as many uses as MMO on a conveyor belt. smile

Nice project. I could even pick it up easily. But don't really have the fabrication skills, a hangar, or tools to even consider trying to build it. Alas! Looks a little like a Baby Lakes.

The person who wanted to buy my Hatz project has had to withdraw for personal reasons, and so it is again for sale.
