Had to read the add twice, long range wing tanks and...another 14gal O&N tank in the backseat? Think you could get some suspicious looking logbook entries, flying that thing around.

Come to think about it, 50gal fillups, would price me right out of flying altogether. Oh well. FK

Man! Its an ugly airplane, but what a price. A bit of cosmetics in the cabin and a paint job you would still have an inexpensive 150/150.

Its ugly. It has limited avionics. I notice there are no photos of the seats. I bet they are at least ugly, and maybe worse. I don't see any sign of carpet below the panel, but not much of the floor showing.

The only thing it has going for it are the low time engine and abundant fuel capacity.

Of course, there could be damage history they haven't talked about ... and it may have been sitting outside for awhile. A thorough pre-buy would be in order.

I believe that the E model still has the small baggage compartment? So, with the aux fuel tank the baggage room just went from limited to nil. There are better buys out there............

I am suspicious - caveat emptor. There could be all sorts of issues, such as corrosion, damage history, on and on. And I see the rust/corrosion above the KX-170B on the panel. Wonder if there's something behind the panel. Hmmmm...

And what's this with a yellow airplane? What's with that anyway???

(ducking...) eek

But if there isnt, it could be much like the wallflower girl that was in the English class.

At the 10 year reunion, that flower blossomed.

Dunno. Yeah, it's suspect, requires a COMPLETE pre-buy, limited avionics and 45 years old..... might be neglected... but I feel it's worth a look.
