For those who may have missed it, club member David Tuck's 150HP aerobat is currently listed in the classifieds for $43K.

Having seen this airplane in person at Clinton, I can attest that it is a nice one, quite similar to my own "Superbat" but with much better paint. Dave's Aerobat is a A150K, the only model conversion that is allowed to keep full Aerobatic certification with the big motor.

An A150K with the 0-320 conversion is extremely rare, there are likely less than a dozen of these in existence. In my opinion, it is the best model for a 150HP conversion. Because this one has long range tanks and only 150 hours since major (New FWF in 2006!), $43K is a very fair price, you could not build this combination for less than $50K (and probably a lot more). It has decent radios, interior and glass too.

Dave's Aerobat is a A150K, the only model conversion that is allowed to keep full Aerobatic certification with the big motor, if it has the correct STC (there are several 150hp STC's, and only one allows this, as I recall)!

Still, it's a sweet airplane! smile

I believe Dave has STC# SA572CE, but I will confirm it.
