The thirty dollar WalMart jobby worked for me. Kept me in, rain out.
I still can't post a picture here, but it's a gray and orange dome tent, perhaps nine feet on a side, maybe four feet tall.
And you take a BF Hammer to flatten all the bumps...just smack 'em through the tent floor.
The poles didn't defeat me, and if it blows away, Hey! Only thirty bucks.

Jim, next time you're over the house, I'll teach ya how to post pics. You interested in ride invitations this season?

One comment I heard that has lots of merit is you want the tent facing sideways so the rain and dew isn't dripping on it off the back edge of the wing.

At Clinton last year I camped for the first time and had an airmattress and a tarp under the tent so I'm not sure a floor is absolutely necessary, but it would improve the product and help keep bugs out.

To me it looks more like a place to take a nap than to camp.

The Wedge tent might be worth a sawbuck but 130? No way.

I ask if they could put a bottom on the tent, this the response.

John

We can put a bottom in it as well for an additional $25.00. The tent would weigh 3 lbs with the floor.
