I keep thinking that there must be a supplier, but I haven't found one yet.

I believe it's a non structural piece and would be permissible under the "owner made parts" thingy.

Texas Aeroplastics sells just such a '59 - '63 Dorsal Fin [ buyplaneparts.com]. Now, if someone can find a Dorsal Fin for the '64 and '65 models (ie - straight-tail/back-window), then I'd be really happy.

True, but they do quote the correct serial # range for the '59-'63 models. The fairing for the 64/65's is angled somewhat differently - it's not interchangeable with the earlier models. Close, but no cigar.
