Does anyone know where I might acquire a new dorsal forward fairing for a 1963 150C? Mine must be close to original equipment, it's cracks have become fissures and air scoops.

I keep thinking that there must be a supplier, but I haven't found one yet.

If you can't find a supplier it would be a simple matter (and kinda fun) to make one from fiberglass. I believe it's a non structural piece and would be permissible under the "owner made parts" thingy.

Texas Aeroplastics sells just such a '59 - '63 Dorsal Fin [buyplaneparts.com].

Now, if someone can find a Dorsal Fin for the '64 and '65 models (ie - straight-tail/back-window), then I'd be really happy.

They show it as 1959-1965 rather than 1963.

True, but they do quote the correct serial # range for the '59-'63 models. The fairing for the 64/65's is angled somewhat differently - it's not interchangeable with the earlier models. Close, but no cigar.
