I am looking for a Loran bent-whip antenna. It doesn't have to be new, but I would like one that still looks good and is operational. I am willing to pay for it, but not too much, as there really isn't much of a market for these anymore.

An example of what I am looking for is the Comant CI-122SP.

Anyone got one laying around?

I think Mark vanWyk just removed what you're looking for when he installed his new DME. Try contacting him about it.

This was removed from my airplane last Saturday. Not sure of the model number, but it was for a Northstar M1A. It says Northstar on it. PM me with your address and you can have it. You pay the postage.

OK. I give. I Googled and Wikipedia'd APRS, and I must ask: what is it? It it something people install on their airplanes? Where to you get one? (Not that I'm interested in buying one.)

p.s. Never mind. I'm reading the APRS thread in the avionics section. Cool, but not something I'm going to installing on my plane any time soon.

Sounds like a fun project, but I have enough antennas sticking out of my plane right now. You're welcome to my LORAN antenna, John.
