I put this in the Aerobat forum and realized it should have been here so....here it is. blush

Life circumstances dictate that our magic carpet go on the auction block soon. I've taken no action yet as it's not an easy thing to do, but sell 'er we will.

I got a professional appraisal a couple months ago stating the worth at 35K. For some reason he didn't consider the planes IFR capability but it's up and running as always so that's worth a buck or two as well.

The plane has been a delight and will be a turnkey purchase for someone.

We're gonna miss the plane, and certainly intend to be back for more but for now it's time to gather all available funds and make a career change.

Details will be posted here and Barnstormers soon.

I know it wasn't an easy decision to make, but that hurts my heart, Russ! frown

I sincerely wish I had the spare change. I know and love that bird like my own and always will!

Yep, i'd sure like to keep it, but i'm hoping to purchase a franchise fairly soon and it'll take all i can muster financially to make it happen. Seems the construction industry is a young mans game, and 32 years of tile work later i'm finding i'm not so young anymore.

It's been a delightful plane (after you stepped in and rescued it from the banditos) and after i stumbled through a few unscrupulous wrenches out here on the left coast.

I'll remain airborne occasionally in rentals to keep the rust off, but i'm sure i'll own again.

Russ,
PM me the details on your plane, engine time, airframe time, and how much you're asking. I have a friend who is actively looking for a 150/152.

I can say with no reservations....IT'S SWEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!

Sorry you're selling Russ, but I can sure relate to your circumstances.
