Sellers usually think these are made out of 23k gold. Of course, it may fit a 150, it may not.

If that's the same part I bought for my C-150H last summer, this is a great deal. These are commonly missing on many planes and are hard to find. I got tired of looking and paid more than $200 for a new one!! I'm actually happy with it, as I believe it has significantly streamlined my nosewheel faring and may be improving my airspeed a knot or two...

He had them for about $5.oo if you were lucky enough to find one that fit.

Last summer he had about a half dozen of them priced VERY reasonably. Naturally, they ALL sold by day 2...I think folks that didn't even need them bought them "just in case."

All of you are correct on the "gold plating" for this part; incredible! MM

I bought one from Rex at Clinton this summer (2009 fly in) my old one had the tab on one side where the bolt goes through it, broken off.
His price was $50.00
Still, a lot cheaper than $200.00 but not as good as the one on Ebay that went for at $27.00.

Wow, that is much more than we paid...not sure how that happened, but my buddy, Tom bought one for dirt cheap from Rex (not anywhere close to $50).
