Stephen, only if your flying from the right seat, it's designed to fit between the seats and offer a place to rest your right arm if flying from the left seat.

Stephen, no pictures of the bottom yet, but it's totally upholstered, there's nothing on the bottom, the armrest is just wedged in between the two seats, actually makes for a pretty sturdy armrest, you can slide it fore or aft to suit each individual. I have several packaged and ready to go!

Still wondering how it would work between the seat and door on a C150 without armrests built in. I have manual flaps but my leg works good for my right arm and hand usually on the throttle.
