Robert 'Bob' Simmons,
It's time to come forth with a full report on your new-to-u plane and tell us all about the sale, the flight home and if all the anxiety was really worth it.

And PICTURES... We want lots of pictures!!!

Tell us all about 72-Victim. grin

Good story evolving here. Thanks Bob.

We all know that Wayne Reynolds is a fantastic person, one of the nicest men I know. But, Bob I draw the line. Never have I even thought of kissing him on the "mouth" sick

Can't wait for chapter 2!

You better keep writing, Robert, make that a book because there are novices like me right behind you gobbling up your words!

As for Wayne....he sounds like a fairy godfather that turns Cessna dreams to gold!

Bob,

I really enjoyed Part 1 of your story and am eagerly waiting for the rest. Just a few comments:

1. I think Royson should include it in the Club Newsletter.
2. Like you've found out, if the employer set up the 401(k) program correctly, you can withdraw from it without penalty if you're at least 55 yrs old at the time of employment separation.
3. I have a Special Issuance medical too, so I know the hoops you had to jump through. Good to hear you made it.

Terry Presley dropped by and said he was going to Wyatt field about 6 miles south of 9A5 to fly his 7GCBC back for an annual. I offered to go with him to drive his car back, for which he was grateful. That took about an hour...

If you had flown him there in your plane, it would've taken less than an hour. You should be thinking like an airplane owner now. grin

Hey Bob..

'Simple Green' works GREAT on oil spots... picks 'em right up and it smells good too!

(Like MMO!)

And DON'T USE REGULAR SIMPLE GREEN. It isn't aluminum safe. The Extreme Simple Green that says OK for aluminum obviously is. YES, hydrogen embrittlement is an issue with aluminum (so says my A&P general textbook)

Thanks for the narrative Robert. You did yourself well by taking ownership of N3372V from Wayne. The plane and the previous owner are both first rate.
