Well, I would always choose old school color schemes like Bengies and Tripps if I was going to have a shop repaint a plane. Can you imagine those in fresh paint?! But the new stuff is cool too I guess.
I'd rather have my 150 and $40K in the bank. In a race we would tie, could tune the same frequencies with similar results too. | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 3,640 Likes: 49 Member/2500+posts | Member/2500+posts Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 3,640 Likes: 49 | I dont think that thing is worth more than about 25-27K period. 55?? I'd hate to be the sucker that pays that. Think about all the GAS!!!!!

Nice plane, but no wheel pants...I'll keep walking.
(just kidding; what a gem!)

If anyone knows where there's one like this,, with a zero engine, avionics stack that it has, with all the extras that this plane has, for $30,000 or less, let me know. I think it would be a heck of a bargain. The lower instrument panel has to go though.

I'd hate to be the sucker that pays that. Think about all the GAS!!!!! The panel alone would cost close to 25K to replicate. This is why putting dual 430s, etc. into a 150 or 152 is economically foolish if you have to sell. Your pool of prospective buyers is very small for a super well equipped 150/2--everyone expects to pay peanuts for the Cessna 2 seater. If you plan to keep the airplane forever and are happy with its limitations, then such equipment is a personal choice.
