Heck, I could've use that at 39... it's very embarrassing to have your neighbor tell you about the tail tie-down rope after you've started the engine....

Flying into an unfamiliar FBO for my BFR. Started the airplane, called GC for clearance, and the plane would not move. Chocks which were practically invisible under the wheel pants placed by the FBO attendant.

Better than going to full power, jumping the chocks (NO wheel pant to hide them) and chopping up the cone placed to mark the next airplane's wingtip. True story. Guy just had a blank stare and kept taxiing.

I did a quick look and found six (6) 150/150s listed for sale on the web, 3 tail draggers. Prices range from $35K to 45.5K, The most that I have ever seen for sale at one time,

My friend just bought a new Cirrus and first flight after getting it home forgot the tow bar. He is not happy with himself, they had to tear engine down.

Reminds me of the time I watched a Citation push its nose chock about 30 feet before finally turning and going around it. You'd have thought the pilot would wonder why is it taking so much power to taxi? grin Left a nice big mark on the ramp!

A good case for doing a preflight.

You don't need a check list to see a tow bar; just walk around the plane with you head where it belongs!
