In case someone is really interested, I see the O-360 equipped 150 in Reno has re-appeared in Trade a Plane at a much more reasonable price of $42,000.

I had offered $40,000 at one point, but backed off when I became concerned about high CHT's. I would possibly reconsider this bird (it is a sweety), but have decided to wait for awhile.

True, I relisted our 150/180hp for 42,000 OBO. I want to clarify that it does not have a high CHT problem. This high performance 150 will steep climb @ max gross weight in high density altitude situations and consequently build heat. The solution is to just lower the nose and cruise climb.

The engine is a Lycoming O-360-A4A and I have attached a scan of the Lycoming Operator's Manual showing fuel burn and CHT temps. Anyone desiring additional information can contact Mike @ 8am-5pm pdt M-F at 775-856-2841 or visit http://tappix.com/705749.

Sorry...didn't mean to offend Mike. Was trying to generate some activity on your gorgeous bird, but we were discussing CHT's when I was considering it, so I wanted to make sure folks discussed that issue...if it even is an issue.

Based on your data, you are indicating that CHT's operate under 400 degrees, so that is fantastic.

Again...sorry about that as I really want to see this gorgeous example getting flown and perhaps at Clinton next year.

Mike, check your Private Message (click on envelope in top left corner of this page). Jeff

I guess you can see why I fell in love with this bird. I guess I better put my Goldwing up for sale...that is if Mike is still talking to me.

I have always thought 220 hp would be JUST RIGHT for a Cessna 150.
But if you think you can get by with a measly 180, this looks like a heck of a nice little bird
