There are two thicknesses. .060" and .100". Is there any advantage going thicker? Does the thicker window create replacement problems?
Thanks!

I got them all tinted. It was pointless to get tinted side windows considering they are under the wings. The windows were so nice and clean I figured I didn't need to open them to take photos. I was right except the tint washed out pictures.
All personal preference, but had I thought about things a bit more I would not have ordered the tinted side windows.

Thanks again!

My solution was a very light tint. Helps a little with glare (though still NEED sunglasses), yet doesn't impede night flying (now if I'd just fly more at night I could enjoy that more)

Or are there any? My plane has tinted plexiglass all around. They keep the cockpit cooler on a sunny day. I don't fly at night, so reduced night visibility is not a factor. I take lots of photos through the tinted side windows. They don't affect the quality of the photos. | | | | Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 13,969 Member/10,000+ posts! | Member/10,000+ posts! I flew in one and the added or perceived shoulder room was great. You can lean over and look down even further.
