Received an E Mail from one of the Northeast 150 pilots that usually
shows up at my Plum Island cookouts.

Seems Aj is selling his plane.

Engine 185 hours after overhaul,
Ligth weight/ high rpm starter, new alternator, new airbox and hoses, slick mags, new carb with one piece ventury and metal float, carb ice detector, new flip flop 10 memory radio, new tach, new seats apolstering, new light weight carpet, k&n air filter, LED beacon, vented gas caps, new transponder, new battery, and VG's.


Allways change the oil with 18 hours.
Using exxon elite.

AJ. Wow, I haven't heard that name in quite awhile...memories of the yahoo forum. He was always a huge fan of his "iceman" carb ice detector.

Tough break. You'd think this plane could be mothballed to minimize costs until things get better.

Yeah, but isn't this the one that cruises like an F-22 and climbs like a Top Cub? wink

If/when it comes to sell mine, 25 is the highest I'd ask. Granted, it's very well equipped.
