Sean, I flew a certain 150/150 from West Houston, TX to Grants Pass in the fall of 2005 for a certain tin-foil hat wearing, no transponder using, wonderful Alpaca throw blanket having, super family man, awesome wife marrying gentleman.

I can attest, you'll thoroughly enjoy the trip. I got to see things on that trip that I had only read about in books. Though I've had many great adventures, to strike out solo with a plane across the western states with a GPS, map, and a camera was an experience that I'll treasure for a lifetime. Just remember, the best way to get from where you are to where you've gotta go certainly is not a straight line. Enjoy the trip. grin grin

For the flight to Grants Pass, do what Gary said! And don't rush it. I flew from Key West to Anchorage and didn't go in a straight line, but I rushed. I didn't have too much time to kill and I really wish I had spent another couple weeks on the trip (and not to mention actually reach Barrow like I wanted)

I think I just felt the continent shift a little to the Pacific Northwest.

Welcome Sean, and have fun with your adventure. Many of use have made the trip over the "rocks" before (go back and read the stories of Clinton trips for some pointers/advice/insights) so make sure you tap the knowledge base here in your planning.

We have members all along the way.....well....except Idaho. ANYONE FROM IDAHO?

Welcome aboard.

Yes, if you're married, be sure to tell your wife! Seriously though, I've often thought if I was going to buy another 150, it would be that plane.
