Welcome to the club, Kendel. With the resources freely available here, don't feel overwhelmed about owning an airplane. Even though we may have hashed over a topic many times in the past, and although some may tell you that, never feel bad about asking a question here. Knowledge is everything, and an informed owner makes for a safer plane and lower maintenance costs, so...ask away.
There is a bunch of information already posted on the forum, but it's liking drinking from a fire hose sometimes.
The biggest thing is we like pictures! It doesn't matter how "daggy" the plane is, we still like pictures.
Welcome to the club.

Actually, I bought two of them. They are both rather high times with the engine at 1500+ and 1700+. There are quite a few things MEL'ed towards the end of their flying, I guess as the money ran out. One of the 150s had 450 SMOH, so my buyer's remorse so far is that I didn't get that one.

C'mon in, grab ya a cup 'o' coffee or whatever's your pleasure, 'n' jump on in.
Ask whatever is on your mind.... no question is stupid.... as Kirk said, we've all been there (some like moi are still there..... but that's a different story).
Good luck with your birds. Aircraft ownership is a rewarding experience!

I'd suggest taking the time to read all of the prior posts. There are a lot of them, and it took me over a month to read most of them, but they were all interesting.
Then you will be in a good position to ask informed questions.
There is certainly a wealth of experience among the Members here!
Yep, I know. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people. That's why I paid my money and joined the club. I'll do the suggested reading in the hopes that it'll help me sniff out a stupid person who previously worked on the airplane without asking the questions.
Pictures are attached. The outlook for keeping both of them is dimming. So, if you know of someone looking for a 150, I'll probably be offering one for sale soon.
In one picture is my 14 year old daughter, looking a bit bemused by the whole thing. She's gone from being annoyed that we had to head to the airport last Wednesday instead of going clothes shopping, to being pretty excited about having an airplane in the family. When I initially offered that she could start working on her ticket next year, she dismissed the idea outright. Last Sunday afternoon as we were driving to her volleyball practice from spending a couple of hours cleaning airplanes, she voiced that she'd gotten excited about the idea of getting a pilot's license. Well, just hearing that goes a long way towards the cost of ownership right there.

John, I don't know yet. It will be a choice between a '73 with 5000 TTAF and hail damage or a '76 with 15000 TTAF and just a couple of dings in one wing. Mechanically, they appear to be at about the same level.
