The US CBP and DHS have changed the rules on how to fly from the Canada to the US. It is now mandatory to file an electronic manifest on arriving and departing the US. This is causing me enough concern to re-think my 2009 Clinton - Oshkosh adventure. I have not yet given up yet but I will be asking many more questions from pilots who have subscribed to the new eAPIS website to file the manifest. I ask all who are interested in flying to Canada to take a look at these new regulations.
Please keep us posted on what you learn, Harry. For those of us who enjoy crossing the border, this is just unthinkable. Maybe there is a slight chance that it is still a workable experience.
