I'm looking for a new set of gas tank caps for my 150J. Does anyone know where I can get a set of used/new ones and how much are they? I actually only need one but I may as well have both looking the same. Thanks!

Cessna. Brand new. Only $25 each. The latest part number is C156003-0101.

I was going to suggest Ebay, but you have to be careful!

Here's a guy that buys parts presumably at retail, then sells them on Ebay to people who assume they're getting it cheaper than they can get it at the dealer. He's got a pair of new caps going for $65+, and the bidding isn't over yet! He does this all the time! jmb9, if you're in the club, sorry to let the cat out of the bag.

I saw a pair of gas caps go for $105 on ebay from that same seller.

I'll admit that I've fallen under the eBay spell myself. I've since learned that eBay is not automatically cheaper. In fact, I've seen stuff get bid up to ridiculous amounts - I feel like shouting at the other bidders, saying "Don't you know it's USED?! That you'll need it checked out first before using?! That a brand-new one costs about the same?!"

But then I quiet down and realize I've got some stuff to sell myself, so let the bidding begin!

Thanks for the info. Mine are faded pink and the rubber is lookign cracked on the seal. So I ordered a set. $44 bucks and change plus shipping.

I'm having them shipped ground UPS to the Office where I work. It's cheaper than having them delivered to my residence.

I repainted mine and they look brand new. The gasgets were good so that is all it took.
