http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-CESSNA-150-AEROBAT-160-H-P-TAILDRAGGER-LOADED_W0QQitemZ160261580221QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item160261580221&_trkparms=39%3A1|65%3A1|240%3A1308&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245

As the listing says:
DO NOT MISS THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO HAVE THE NICEST 150 AEROBAT IN THE WORLD !!!!

I'd say it needs a bit of work to make it the nicest aerobat in the world, wouldn't you?

I can't believe that auction. Are they serious? I guess they are.

* AVCON 160 H.P. CONVERSION (ENGINE NOT INCLUDED)
* TAILDRAGGER CONVERSION (TAILWHEEL NOT INCLUDED)
WE WILL SUPPLY AN FAA BILL OF SALE, BUT LOGBOOKS AND STC PAPERWORK FOR THE MODS IS NOT AVAILABLE

Talk about putting lipstick on pig! Am I right in saying that without the STC paperwork and logs, the value of this thing is seriously reduced?

As Poobs would say, TFF!

I also liked how they said it was loaded... and then used standard things on the aerobat for emphasis... quick release doors! Skylights that are cracked! Removable seat cushions!

And the "we don't know how fast it cruises, but a placard says don't fly with the windows open above 165mph!"

C'mon!

And, with that AVCON conversion, it has to be placarded against spins and is no longer "aerobatic" under the Reg's.
