I enjoy my C152 so much I'm thinking of sinking some serious coin into it (serious for me). However, my AME tells me to get another C152, a lot less beat up if I'm going to sink good money into it.

Anyone know where I can get a newer model 1983,84,85 machine with less than 7,000 hours on it? My budget would be around $35k before the additions I have in mind.

My other option is a Diamond C1 Eclipse. But like to fly into grass fields a lot and the C1 is not as good for that as a C150/152.

Why not just make Bill Warner an offer on his 152? It is better then new!! And you probably would not have to make any additions!! laugh

Avery,
There is a nice one 1979 C152 for sale here in Quebec City, but the owner is proud of it and asking 40K$. Let me know if you need is phone number.
I will watch the local market and let you know of other opportunity.

It's the best of the best. None nicer.

There's a fella who dropped off a flyer at the Eufaula Airport in Alabama last week. As I recall, it was a 152 which he had sunk a wad of money into and was asking around 35k USD for it. Perhaps Eric, the FBO 2nd in command could give you some more info in it.

Give it a try:

Otherwise, you may need to save up another 10k and look at Bill Warner's. wink
