Light weight, 9.2 pistons.
Reprofiled cam.
Crossover exhaust.
Reworked carb.
Electronic ignition.

Flying now, come see for yourself. Don't waste the money on the 150hp conversion. Will need new prop and 500 tbo, but how may hours do you really fly a year? Looking for good run out cores.

That went over my head too. Do you have FAA approval to install a hopped up O-200 in a certificated 150? 500 hours isn't much of a TBO. What is the cost?

An overhaul every 24 months could get expensive!

I was guessing that 500 might be a typo for 1500. I can't imagine the FAA approving a mod to an engine that causes so much extra wear that tbo is reduced by more than half.

In this case, it reduced it by about 2/3s.

It must be a typo.
