Brian has made past offers to deliver planes for $1.00 plus the gas and plane ticket home. He's in Indiana, a seasoned pilot with a commerical ticket.

If he'll do it, I'll offer to jump in the Bonanza and fly to Indiana to pick him up and then deliver him to Oklahoma where the plane is located. No charge.

Brian?

Alexander, First, let me congratulate you on considering the purchase. I also must say Bryan Oetting is as capable as they come and would be a great pilot to fly your new plane to you in Seattle...regardless of where the plane is located once you find the one to buy.

As for the cost, A couple of years ago, I delivered a 150/150 from Houston, Texas to Grants Pass, Oregon so an old Grandpa-to-be could have a nice plane. grin grin That trip, flown over 4 days with three nights in a hotel ended up costing right at 1000 dollars. Like Bryan, my delivery fee was nothing. I did it for the experience. My schedule wouldn't allow me to do it this year, but Bryan has his Commercial Pilot's license, Instrument rating, and he's president of his local Good-ole-boy club. He's also owned a 150 and currently owns a Cherokee 180. He gave it a girl's name, but don't hold that against him. grin

I've always thought Seattle would be pretty for a visit, but I hear it's gray and cloudy most of the time. Good luck with your airplane purchase. Bart's is a nice one.

Alexander,

I would be interested if you can't get anyone else. Helped bring one back from Kingman, Az. to NC a few years back.

Bart,

I talked to a guy here in Arkansas that's looking for a 150.

Call me and I'll pass on his name and number.

Hi, My Bird is still for sale. Lots of lookers but no takers yet. You could be the one.

Bart, have you tried listing it on eBay? It is roughly $50.00 to list, then another $50.00 if the reserve is met. I don't think you can buy better advertising for that much.

Bart,

I can only dream a plane like this is available and as close when I'm ready to buy. I'm within a year for sure. Who knows, not to wish bad luck on you or anything but..... hope its still available!!! My son used to be a student at Spartan. He's has an A/P and has his commercial, instrument, CFI, and multi ratings now. I could get an annual and have it ferried VERY cheap!!!

Hey Billy,

Lake Charles isn't that far away. I'll ferry it for you if you buy it.
