I am very interested in this airplane, have spoken with the mechanic who originally imported it to canada in 1970, in valueing it I am having some difficulties.
1) What is the 150 HP upgrade worth?
2) How much do I deduct for an engine that hasn't been overhauled since 1969?
3) How much does the float kit add to the value?
4) How much do I deduct for the hassle of importing it back to the States?
Here is what I gleaned from the mechanic..
a) Aprox 1200 hrs on engine,
b) 3600 hrs Airframe
c) Kx 155 w GS, Garmin 150 GPS, not sure about the TXP.
d) Mods were done in 1969

The float kit on that aircraft is next to worthless. The crossmembers in the windscreen stiffen the airframe a little bit, but you will not be able to put the aircraft on floats (not sure WHERE that brace even came from! Only G,H, and J models and perhaps K models are approved for floats.) It also appears that that is the ONLY part of the float kit installed on that aircraft.

Very cool looking brace, like brace.
Very big looking engine, like engine.
Very big looking spinner, like scull cap.
