The transponder antenna is sold 393 dollars by spectyrum (discount included) cry
What about the CI-105 DME/TRANSPONDER ant ? Spruce catalog 94 dollars
What about CI-101 TRANSPONDER ant ? Spruce catalog 47 dollars

I need to buy the fairing air scoop, part n. 0452200-1.
I found it in the Hill catalog, they sell this part with one other part number. What is the doubler?
What is the exaust-opening doubler?

Thank you.

Do not buy the antenna from Cessna (Spectrum, Hill, whomever)! It is basically identical to the Comant CI-101. There is no reason to pay Cessna "middle-man" prices for this.

CI-105? ALL tansponder antennas double as DME antennas. 400 mph? No!

The CI-101 is a perfect replacement, but Spruce advertises them online for $94.25, not $47.

The Comant CI-101 should sell for about $69.

The fairing air scoop pn 0452200-1 is only available from a Cessna dealer (Hill, Spectrum, etc.). The doubler pn 0452002-30 is the reinforcement on the inside of the cowling for riveting the fairing in place.

The exhaust doubler is just a round reinforcement for the exhaust hole in the cowling, and can be fabricated from aluminum sheet, using the old doubler as a template.

The CI-105 requires 3 holes in the skin (2 extra for the mounting screws). Do you already have a CI-105 or similar blade antenna installed? If so, it should be the obvious choice. If not, and you only have one hole, the CI-101 is a better choice.

There is the King antenna now. She is ruined by the exaust but still working

Yes the 105 is more fine.

Note that the original is spot welded into the lower cowl.
