Oh, almost forgot...Wentworth aircraft salvage probably has those axle nuts. Might want to give them a call.

Dear Bryan:

Because of your generosity you just got yourself a case of CORONA's, how about that? I certainly and without questions take you up on your offer... Christmas present I take it!

Please provide me with your mailing address so I can send you a Bank of America Cashier's check so you can go and get your full case of Corona's. If there is a Wal*Mart near by your home it is a good place to get them. By the way your are responsible for cooling them, OK?

My mailing address to get your plates is:

Salvador Corona
1906 McCarter Lane
Grants Pass, OR 97527-5761

Dear Bryan:

The check will be in the mail however I am thinking on a Wal*Mart gift card if you can use it where you are. In the mean time enjoy them!

By the way, if you ever make it to Grants Pass 3S8), a chill one will be waiting for you!

You'll also need a set of main axle nuts. The fairings mount to special nuts.

Rex Brandt had a few sets of those in Clinton, IA. I think Matthew Gray bought a pair for something like $10.00 a piece. I don't have his number available at the moment but, I'm sure the Clinton Airport could point you in the right direction.

If I had a spare set of axle nuts, I'd give them to you for an airplane ride at Clinton, but the only set I have is for my bird. There are lots of spares around, often on eBay or Barnstormers. Don't pay new price, regardless!

You are likely the most polite poster I've ever seen Salvador.

You seem to be a bit of a history buff...and a car lover(as I am)...and I can't sleep...so allow me to add to the story of your aircraft and its ident tag.

GARJ made its home at Mitchinson flying service [mitchinsonflyingservice.com] in Saskatoon Canada.

Since 1997, the registration has adorned something a little bigger than a 152...an Airbus A319 wearing Air Canada livery...of which I found a photo on Airliners.net...with the ident clearly visible. C-GARJ - Airbus [airliners.net]

I hope my search for some wheel pants for my '59 goes half as smooth as yours seems to have.
