I have thought about doing that too, when the time comes to change the interior.
Get that material from Texas Aeroplastics and glue it on the old, cracked plastic.

Looks good.

That's a good looking plane. Well equipped, too.

His claim of an O-200 easily making 2500 hours may be a little optimistic! Especially at 1700 hours SMOH with no mention of a top end overhaul. I just asked him about the engine for sale that he mentioned in the answer to someone else's question. That almost seems too good to be true.

It is a good looking IFR 150. If all is well with the engine, it will make a nice plane for a new owner.

Do you think his wife read the entire ad? eek

Eric!

Read the Q&A!

"...WW air has a used engine with 54 hrs SMOH for 4900 he will give you 2500 credit for your core do the math."

I don't know where the engine is, but Spring Hill isn't that far from me!

You buy it, I'll fly it! grin

I asked him about that one. The second question posted is from me. His response was to email him after the sale. It almost sounds too good to be true, but it is a good deal even if he really meant $4,500 plus core.

Carl, thanks for the offer! I may take you up on that, or at least ask you to take a quick look at the engine and logs. The only WW air that I can find from FL online is WW Air Ambulance and there is no contact info. So, I'll wait until the auction is over. I place an ad on Barnstormers looking for a low or mid time engine last night.

I sent an email to Salvador Corona about this plane (he's looking to buy one), and this was his response:

Jose: Thank you, I check it out and is not airworthy. The certification was terminated by the FAA.

ATTENTION!
This aircraft's registration status may not be suitable for operation.
Please contact the Aircraft Registration Branch at 1-866-762-9434 for additional information.

Regards,

Salvador Corona
