Bill, I'll be happy to take the bottom end from that O-200 off your hands if you decide to buy it for the wings.

My goal would be just to switch wings and resell the 67. But again, if enough people here wanted individual parts?? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM????? What about the whole engine, Eric??

........then what do you do about the landing light MISSING on the '67?

HMMMMMMM?? One airplane with landing lights in both the wing and cowl and the other with no landing light at all? That could be a wee bit of a problem, huh??

In years gone by landing lights were not required fornight VFR. Only Navigation (position) lights.

Not a comfortable thought, but it was done.

I think landing lights are not required for night landings.

About half of the time I leave them turned off and find they are not a real aid to landing on a runway with edge lights. It's better to focus farther down the runway than become fixated on the spot produced by the landing light.

The engine is higher time and it sat for a while. But if the price is right then yes, I would be interested in the whole engine. My top end only has about 650 hours so I'd end up taking the best of the two engines and selling off the rest as parts.

As the owner, I probably wouldn't sweat the landing light issue. They're not that good to begin with. It would however, be a big bargaining chip for any prospective buyer.

I wonder which would make more sense financially, parting it out after you take the wings off or putting it together to sell? confused
