And it was so sad to see 'em go. Everyone leaving Clinton - like having to wait another year for Christmas as a kid.

Yes David, in bluegrass, violins are not used..only fiddles. After all in the bluegrass world, you dont hear the term "violin tunes"...its "hey lets pick a fiddle tune".... So, do ya'll play some bluegrass up at Clinton too?

Billy!!

If it's got notes, we play it.

If it's got words, we say it!

This year Gary, Dave "Viking" Monskey, Jeff Hersom and I brought guitars (Jeff had a bass). We play stuff that most everyone knows and can sing along with - stuff like John Denvers's "Take me home, Country Roads", George Strait "Amarillo By Morning".... stuff that most everyone knows. But that doesn't stop us from playing blues (me), rock and country (Dave), or anything else (Gary).

BTW - Gary and Viking are GOOD!!! I'm just along for the ride.

So c'mon!!! laugh Bring the fiddle 'n' resin up the bow!!! Lets get some Cajun Jam in the Iowa Cornfields!

Uh, I have a clarification to Ed's post. Ed's good. I'm fair, but Dave "Viking" Monskey
TOTALLY ROCKS!!!!
