one of the AOPA escrow service dept has an expidited registration service (for a fee) but they will send you the forms and you complete them and send it back to them and they look it over for you for errors and then deliver it directly to the FAA. If I remember right I got my registration back in about 4 weeks.
(they will send extra forms. just ask when ordering, it seams like I alway mess up the first one)
