You can also plug the same part number into www.iwantcessnaparts.com [iwantcessnaparts.com] yielding $76.75 in stock and at www.cessnaparts.com [cessnaparts.com] it is $74.88 stock level not listed.

Scott, et. al.,
Thanks for the new website. To all who have led me to ebay ... I am presently bidding on a yoke control lock with a bid of $52.02 (yikes, is Bulldog worth that much to get this original part?). And, the reserve price has not yet been met. If I have to go over $55 I will keep my carefully bent welding rod.
Again, thanks to all who have sent me in the web site directions.
Hugh

Hi there,
just an observation on that ebay item
You may want to look at the bend in the lock where it fits into the column, it looks like an old 172 style with a vertical pin not a horizontal one like the 150
Regards

Matthew

Matthew, thanks,

But, your warning is too late. I just one the bid and paid via PayPal. If it's the wrong one, I'll just have to do battle with Canada.

I'll let you know if it fits,
Hugh

G'day, Matthew,
No, I don't have any concern. If it doesn't fit, I believe the seller will make it good. Air Calgary sells a lot of stuff on ebay and I don't think he can afford a nasty feedback. I'll keep you posted. It was shipped today.

By the way ... when I worked in the Middle East, I used to vacation a lot in Phuket Island, Thailand. Drank a many a beer on that beach with Aussie's. They always out-drank me. Been there?

G'day Matthew,

I'm happy to report that the control lock arrived from Canada, and with one minor little bend of my pliers, it fits like a glove. Now I can get rid of the bent welding rod.

Hugh,

Good for you, its always nice to have a win every now and again, as mentioned when I saw the pic on ebay and thought about my lock, the bells started ringing, I'm glad it turned out ok in the end
Look forward to talking again some time

Happy Skies
regards
