I guess technically "Make and Model" means Make and Model. Models being 33, 35, and 36. They don't match do they?

I know there are systems differences (engines, controls, etc.) and other quirks (CG shifting backwards as fuel burns in the 33 and 35 models) that would warrant some time in the various models, but really, a few hours pouring over the manuals with someone that knows the model and a couple flights should really do it when transitioning between the different models. Like I told you, I've only flown the two Debs, but I doubt I'd feel there was too much difference in handling the different models.

Due to my inherent lack of trust in insurance companies I would assume the worst. Up until last year I owned a 1947 Bonanza which was the first year they were built. I owned that plane for 17 years. The Beech "model" designation on that plane is a straight "35" - no letter designation of any kind. Fast forward to my 1978 Bonanza and Beech labels it a model "V35B". While they are both V tail Bonanza's they are two different airplanes both in performance and the way they handle. There's a difference of 1150 lbs. when you compare gross weights. As a side note, 7 years ago when I bought the '78, my insurance company required I get 10 hours of duel in it before going solo. I'll let you know what I find out next week. Jim

No need to bother your insurance agent. I was just curious just how tightly they split the lines. When it means they wouldn't have to pay a claim, I'd bet they could come up with something.
In fact, the only ones who fit my open pilot rider on my insurance have to have 100 tailwheel, and 25 time in type. That has to be in a 150 tailwheel, not necessarily a 150/150 tailwheel. But, let's say that Dennis Geivette pranged it, (Sorry Dennis), I would then be worried about the insurance company inventing an exclusion regarding the 150/150 conversion, too. But, if Dan Meler dings it up...Hopefully he's okay...I get a big fat check!
