Guy's , below is Jennefers post from another thread , Anybody got any advice on her questions??????

I am interested in learning about the options for shipping a plane from America to Scandinavia, because it sounds like at the end of the day, it will be cheaper to find a good one in America than to buy one here in Scandinavia ( or even the rest of Europe). (Especially with the current exchange rates taken into account.) Furthermore, there is obviously a far greater selection in America. the more I learn about plane ownership and flying here, the more I think that it may make sense for me as a US citizen to earn a FAA certficate and then buy and fly a plane on the N register. There are certain rules with operating a plane on the N reg in Norway (the details of which I still have to get from Luftfartsverket (Norwegian CAA), among which is having the annuals done by a mechanic certified to work on N reg planes. Yes, it sounds like there are regulations to abide by there, but again, I have everything to learn and even more to find out. Plane purchase is considerably cheaper in America than here; learning to fly is too, although that may change dramatically if America introduces user fee

May it not happen!

Well, wish me luck folks! One day a Cessna 140 or 150 it will be!
