Sharon, This was quite an expensive annual, typically if you had to, conversion kits are roughly about $1200-$1300. For that kind of money they must of changed quite a bit of other parts,, I think I would talk to someone that is reputable and review the bill. By the way,, did you get our old wheels back? Cleveland had never marketed an STC'ed conversion for these aircraft. In the past, they marketed a non-STC'ed kit that required individual field approval for each installation. Then along came Cessna and negoiated a deal with Cleveland. Cleveland ceased marketing the Field Approval kit and in their catalog they send you to a Cessna Serivce Bulletin and it provides information on
Cessna marketed and approved Cleveland conversion kit.
Indeed, Cleveland packaged and marketed and STC'ed conversions might run $1500 but add the Cessna Corp into the equation and $2000 easily becomes a reality.
