Even if they couldn't find anyone with rotors [aircraftspruce.com] in stock, they should have contacted you first before ordering new wheels that you didn't really need. How do they know that you don't have boxes full of spare parts or a source that they didn't try? I could see if it was only a few bucks, but it sounds like this was over a $1000.00 difference. That's not right. My mechanics called once to let me know they were going to replace my starter and to ask me which one I wanted them to buy. That's the way it should be done. I hope they gave you all of your used parts. At least you can sell the wheels.
