Okay, here is what the mechanic just told me. It was the rotors. Everything else is good. It was just the rotors. He said they were unable to find replacement rotors and so replaced the entire setup.
Even if they couldn't find anyone with

aircraftspruce.com] in stock, they should have contacted you first before ordering new wheels that you didn't really need. How do they know that you don't have boxes full of spare parts or a source that they didn't try? I could see if it was only a few bucks, but it sounds like this was over a $1000.00 difference. That's not right. My mechanics called once to let me know they were going to replace my starter and to ask me which one I wanted them to buy. That's the way it should be done. I hope they gave you all of your used parts. At least you can sell the wheels.
