I understand your viewpoint. Price alone definately does not denote quality or fit. I've bought and used Gator Aero interior parts, and was pleased with the quality, although fit was no better than some of "his" (one person) competitors. "They" are not a big company, and production changes and tooling can be costly and time consuming, when you're only one person.

I'm more concerned with how much documentation Franco will need to satisfy ENAC (Italian FAA). Right now, you and I can clandestinely skirt the issue somewhat through the FAA and CASA (the regs are tightening and those days are numbered for me, BTW) but Franco may already need accurate documentation and certification, which would eliminate Gator Aero as a potential supplier!
