I like the plane. From the description of the engine condition, I don't see where you could go wrong with this one. When it comes to early Cessna's, a good grasp on the issues Charles Hanna lists on his home page is invaluable.
I like the looks of this one. I really like the fast backs. If you can live without the extra baggage room, I think it'd be a dandy.
As for Jeff and Bill's bantering, Jeff is only talk, and Bill is too far away!
He'd never buy a plane that isn't already in Oregon...
