I've seen this plane; it was shown to me back in October when I landed at Benson to take photos of another 150. Supposedly all these changes where modifications, but I suspect Carl's right....the easiest way to convert to a long dorsal fin is to replace the whole tail cone....maybe that's only way to do it?
I've never heard of a STC to install landing lights on the other wing, either. I wouldn't be suprised if everything was done without the proper paperwork. Could that be part of the registration problem?
Have to admit, I was left with a funny feeling about it, too.
