I bought a 150/150 for my high altitude flying in Colorado, so it’s time to sell 8255F
The engine time is high, but it still runs good, though at density altitudes regularly above 7 or 8,000’, it’s a bit underpowered on takeoff. I think at lower altitudes it will continue to run good for some time. It burns/leaks (mostly from the starter shaft) about 3.5 quarts per 50 hours, which I’m told is not bad for an O-200.

Complete logs since new. No known damage history. I believe one wing was replaced in the 60s or 70s due to corrosion. No known corrosion on the rest of the aircraft.
Hangared in dry Erie, CO for the past 4+ years.
The paint and interior are pretty decent, but also pretty original. I would say 7/10. The exterior polished up pretty nicely.
I have put 600+ hours on this plane in the last 7 months flying all over, but mainly at 5080’ as my home base. The climb performance is much better at lower altitudes, so when the opportunity arose to buy a 150hp 150, I jumped on it. Now I need to sell this for gas money to get the next 600 hours to my ATP rating.
