Often times up here in Alaska we use these accident/opportunity to install a STOL kit. I'll bet you would be surprised what you would find under many leading edge STOL kits. This allows access holes to be cut so the nose ribs can be fixed. Then you cover all the holes and skin repairs with the STOL kit. I'd recommend the Sportsmens kit by Stene Aviation. $2300. plus shipping. Adds value to the plane and increases the safety margin in many ways. Just a thought.
