You look at planes like Woodstock, Snoopy, Songbird, Wilbur, Ashley's 152 (just to name a few for the sake of brevity) along with a host of others, AOPA might have made a mistake not coming here first to sample what our world in this type club is like. I sense we know these planes better than almost anybody else?

The only problem with being familiar (or somewhat, anyway) with the outstanding airplanes in this club is it make some of us (me!) feel like we are unworthy, flying around in a 150/152 with gravel chips in the paint and old fashioned analog instruments! smile Then again, it does give us something to aspire to!

You can make your plane's paint look better for almost free! Just come to Clinton and park next to the RatRod. Can't help you with the instruments though, I went square a few years back. frown
