A copy and paste from the Aviat website:

152 ReImagined Cessna for Sale, refurbished, overhauled, new paint jobs and interiors by Aviat Aircraft and are made available at a base price of $164,640.

I don't know how old this quote is or if it's still even good or the 164,640.00 they list is still valid.

Knowing first hand what it costs for a shade tree mechanic to restore a 150/152, I could never connect the dots on their 100,000.00 selling price when they first started this program.

Down deep, I thought that someone had to be subsidizing this program in order for it to work at the 100K price point.

Not my business so it is what it is and I guess we'll never know what all was involved.

Oh,and thanks for the compliment, Cary but I've always said that there is a broad number of very nice 150/152's in the club that would blow these ReImagined planes into the weeds and there's no question that the AOPA planes are very nice examples of what can be done.

You look at planes like Woodstock, Snoopy, Songbird, Wilbur, Ashley's 152 (just to name a few for the sake of brevity) along with a host of others, AOPA might have made a mistake not coming here first to sample what our world in this type club is like. I sense we know these planes better than almost anybody else?
