One interesting thing about this plane that you can see evidence of in the third image of the original posting above. Sunlight shining onto the radio stack. I think it has the skylights, roof glass that the Aerobat used. I haven't asked Fred about that. When I see it I will find out.
I concur, that's exactly what you're seeing. It's very evident just above the carb heat handle.
