What’s the fuel burn when throttling a 150/150 back to 150/100 speeds (ie <100 kts)?
When I'm in normal cruise on my own I see about 7.5gph at 110 knots. Full power departure is about 13gph. But on departure I'm climbing at about 800fpm or so at full gross.
When I'm flying with Keystone Flight (a ragged group of Cessna 150s, 172s and those low wingers) we fly as fast as the slowest aircraft and I'll see about 6gph.
When I'm flying with Poobs I'm flying so slow that there is gas being put back
INTO the tanks. (Just kidding, its about 4gph).
