A friend of mine is in talks with the broker/owner to buy it.
Personally my thoughts align with Rick's and I made the suggestion he will get more value out of a 172 for his mission, but this is what he wants so I'm helping him with the logistics since it's his first purchase.
When looking for my next Mooney I seriously considered the Mooney Rocket (K model conversion with 305HP vs 210HP) and was in prebuy with one, but I think it is just too much for what it was made for. Constantly cracked exhaust pieces, mounts, and other items confirmed my gut feeling and ultimately deterred me.
