Back about 10 years ago (or so) when I restored Sierra, I bought these (and other pieces) new from Cessna.

I don't honestly remember what they cost back then and I'm too lazy to dig through the files but I'm positive they were not at the flight level these are now.

Right or wrong, it was important to me to have news parts (here and other places) that I could clean, treat and apply a corrosion barrier coating on prior to installation.

After my experience with Queenie (the 152 Queen of corrosion for the newbies), I never wanted to deal with corrosion again if I could do something on the front end to give me a fighting chance to accomplish that.
