Kirk, that’s exactly why I was suspect of the eBay seller. I mean, who the heck has a whole bag of them? Plus there was no original Cessna tags, parts bags or boxes/ packaging. A Sharpie pen is hardly legit.
I have noticed a trend on eBay where sellers are “ parting out” C-150’s and you know they have figured out how to look up prices on the Cessna parts websites.
I just found two S1880-2 lighting rheostats in original boxes (NOS) and I got them for $125 ea. Cessna price is about $350 each. That’s why I will buy parts that are rare and squirrel them away in case I need them in the future- window latches, door handles, fuel valves, and more.
